There are dozens and dozens of castles in Scotland. We only saw a handful of them. They
range in condition from ruins, to the truly spectacular. They also rainge in grandeur from the
small, stone castle built for protection by a local baron, to the expansive and opulent castles
inhabited by the kings and queens of Scotland. Unfortunately, in some cases we were not
permitted to photograph the interiors of the castles.
